A lidded pot (lid could act as a small bowl as it’s glazed inside) in the colours of cornflowers!
A well-fitting bowl lid sits on a recessed lip and the pot is glazed black inside. The flecked iron inclusions in this speckled clay give metallic flashes all over the body of the pot, adding interest and variety to black, blue, green and purple glazes.
It measures 11cm high and is 9.5cm at the widest part of the belly.
Food safe glazes. All back-stamped with my maker’s mark ‘JL’.
For best results, wash handmade pottery by hand. Although these can withstand occasional cleaning in the dishwasher, they shouldn’t go into the microwave, oven or freezer.
