A two-part butter saver. The idea is that you pack the 'lid' with your favourite butter then invert it over the bottom half which contains cold water. The water then acts as a butter 'seal' meaning you can have room temperature butter without it being exposed to the air. Clever. This one is glazed in a rich blue.
Food safe glazes. All back-stamped with my maker’s mark ‘JL’.
For best results, wash handmade pottery by hand. Although these can withstand occasional cleaning in the dishwasher, they shouldn’t go into the microwave, oven or freezer.
